Ocorrência de fitopatógenos em cultivos no Centro de Agroecologia Rio Seco e em propriedades de agricultores familiares em Amélia Rodrigues, Bahia

Aiming to identify the diseases that occurred in the crops of the Rio Seco Agroecology Centerand areas of family farmers in the Municipality of Amelia Rodrigues in Bahia, a survey wascarried out from September 2015 to February 2016. The diseases were evaluated by the symptomsexposed in the collection of plant Material for laboratory analysis. The determination offungi and algae occurred by the direct method, practicing examinations of the materials underthe stereoscopic and optical microscope. In the impossibility of immediate fungal identification,fragments of plant materials were grown in potato-dextrose-agar for isolation of phytopathogensand subsequent identification by the characterization of their structures under the opticalmicroscope. As for the materials with symptoms of bacterial infection were submitted to theexudation test. A range of diseases caused by fungi, bacteria and algae were observed, withleaf spot being the most frequent symptoms.
