The End Is the Beginning

2014
You’ve made it, it’s the end of the book. Thirteen chapters are now behind you. You’ve (hopefully) extracted all the knowledge this book has, and it’s now beginning to percolate through your brain. It’ll take some time before you’ll feel like you really “get” it. You might well need to refer back to previous chapters and skim through certain sections a second time, and I hope you continue to thumb through this book whenever you need to look for inspiration throughout your software design career. In this chapter, I’ll remind you of just how far you’ve come (and it really is quite a long way), and I’ll talk about how you can begin to introduce all you’ve learned in your day-to-day work. It might be the end of this book, but it could be just the beginning of how you’ll think about application design from now on!
