Method and system for optimizing emission antenna selection in three-dimensional multi-antenna transmission

2013
The invention discloses a method and system for optimizing emission antenna selection in three-dimensional multi-antenna transmission. The method comprises: in three-dimensional space, based on an obtained pilot signal, performing channel estimation on a corresponding pilot signal emission antenna on each receiving antenna; based on the channel estimation on all the receiving antennas, obtaining the channel space vector of each emission antenna, based on the channel space vectors, calculating the rate gain of each emission antenna, and according to the rate gain, selecting the corresponding emission antennas as antennas to be emitted; and calculating a channel rate corresponding to the set of all the antennas to be emitted, and based on the channel rate, determining a finally optimized to-be-emitted antenna set. According to the invention, based on correlation parameters such as the rate gain of each emission antenna, the channel rate of the set of all the antennas to be emitted and the like, an optimized antenna set is determined for transmission, so that the overall energy consumption is substantially reduced, the complexity of transmission equipment is reduced, and the system energy efficiency is improved.
