Research on the Measurement of High Pressure Wet Steam by Spectral Light Extinction Method

2009
The spectral light extinction method was developed and applied in wetness and droplet size distribution measurement of high pressure wet steam flow.In data processing, improved optimized regularization algorithm has more strong noise immunity, accuracy and stability than the traditional Philip-Twomey-NNLS algorithm.Experiments of standard particle sizing measurement and high pressure wet steam on-line measurement indicate that,by increasing the distance between the fibers and measuring area, and lessing cross section of detecting fiber, influences of forward scattering and multiple scattering on the extinction spectrum can be effectively decreased and the precision of measurement is ensured.Experiments of high pressure wet steam test show that the size of droplets in high pressure status is smaller than that in lower pressure status, and its distribution is more narrow, which is one of proof of less water erosion in high pressure nuclear power turbine.
