Porous silica-based particles, method for producing same, and cleansing cosmetic material including porous silica-based particles

2015
Provided are porous silica-based particles that have a small specific surface area and a large pore volume and are included in a cleansing cosmetic material as a scrubbing agent. These porous silica-based particles have high disintegrability such that damage to the skin can be prevented. These porous silica-based particles have an average circularity of 0.1 to 0.5, a pore volume (Pv) of 0.1≤Pv<1.0 ml/g, a specific surface area of 5 to 60 m 2 /cm 3 , a median size (D 50 ) of 100 to 1000 μm, and a ratio (D 100 /D 50 ) of the maximum particle size (D 100 ) and the median size (D 50 ) of 3.0 or less. In addition, the median size (D R50 ) and the maximum particle size (D R100 ) after rubbing the particles for 30 seconds with a load of 1.0 to 1.4 KPa are 5 to 40 μm and 15 to 200 μm, respectively.
