Survey and analysis of the planned immunization of the migrant children in Luchaogang region

Objective: To master the planned immunization of the migrant children in Luchaogang region for further improving the monitoring and management methods and enhancing the immunization rate of migrant children. Method: The current situation of the immunization rate of the migrant children was investigated at home in the region. Result: The rate of immunization cards established was 91.8%, the rate of immunization certificate 94.3%, and the coincidence rate of the cards and certificate 91.8%. The qualified immunization rates of five vaccines of the migrant children of one year old were 92.9% of BCG, 94.8% of hepatitis B vaccine, 92.6 of polio vaccine, 93.5% of DPT vaccine, and 94.0% of measles vaccine in respective. The rate of full immunization of five vaccines was 91.8%. There were obvious differences in establishing cards, certificates and immunization of the migrant children in the different age groups. Comparing the migrant children staying in constructing sites and in the community diaspora there existed difference in establishing cards, certificates and immunization rate. Conclusion: The efforts to publicizing immunization should be further strengthened, the methods for knowing the real situation and checking underreporting should be improved, and the management of planned immunization should be strengthened for the migrant children.
