The invention relates to a regenerative fuel cell device (10) for a motor vehicle, which is adapted to carry out an endothermic electrolysis consumption of a current supplied and to generate electricity by means of a reversible to the endothermic electrolysis exothermic reaction, the regenerative fuel cell device (10) in addition such designed and directly or indirectly as a heat transfer device (14) of the motor vehicle and / or to a sorption (16) of the motor vehicle connectable to a waste-heat (12) of the regenerative fuel cell device (10) at least partly on the heat transfer device (14) is routable and / or at least one subunit (18) of the sorption (16) by means of at least a portion of the waste heat (12) of the regenerative fuel cell device (10) is heatable.
