Linear and Nonlinear Analysis in the Parallel HR-MCG/HR-ECG Experiment in Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy

2000
The Uhl’s disease, known also as arrythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) may be a cause of sudden cardiac death in young people [3]. Application ofthe Standard linear and new nonlinear methods to investigation of macroscopic physical aspects of this pathology, especially those which provide information for risk analysis, and predict the development of this disease in its early stage, seems to be a very promising task for the biomagnetic studies especially when combined with multichannel high-resolution ECG measurement. The aim of our study was to compare the information content of simultaneously measured ECGs and MCGs and the detailed spatio-temporal structure of multichannel patterns, with Standard linear and modern nonlinear algorithms.
