After the prohibition of antibiotics, the research for an alternative to antibiotics has accelerated. One of the these alternatives is bacteriocin. Bacteriocins exist widely in nature and play some critical roles. Bacteriocins also have common usege area. In recent years, the use of bacteriocin in human health, animal health, nutrition and protection of foods has aimed. In this review, it has been dwelled on the possibilities of using bacteriocins, which are biological products, in poultry nutrition as a microflora regulatory.
