Flocculation and Sedimentation /UASB/Biological Contact Oxidation Process for Treatment of Pharmaceutical Wastewater

The application of flocculation sedimentation/UASB/biological contact oxidation process to wastewater treatment from a pharmaceutical plant in Tianjin is introduced.The effluent indexes can reach the second class criteria specified in the Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard(GB 8978-1996).The operation practice for more than four years shows that the process is selected reasonably,and it has stable and reliable operation and low operation cost.
