Seasonal variation in P-pools, porewater SRP and P-release in a coastal marine sediment

In 1990 variation in P-pools and porewater SRP was studied in a coastal marine sediment from Aarhus Bight, Denmark. Sediment P-release and oxygen uptake was measured in a continuous flow system using undisturbed sediment cores collected by a box-corer. Water depth at the station was 16 meters, which was usually below the halocline.
