Synthesis of diamond crystals weight up to 0.5carat in the d.c. glow discharge plasma

The process of the growth of diamond crystal weighing up to 0.5 carat was examined in the d.c. glow discharge plasma. At constant parameters of the discharge, crystal growth was observed permanently over time with some breaks in the process and subsequent resumptions. The process of crystal growth was examined using an electron microscope, scales and a Raman spectrometer.
