According to the invention, the mechanization of the calcium carbide submerged arc furnace hole punching and plugging device is realized by the hole punching mechanism and the hole plugging mechanism, the hurt to an operator caused by manual operation is avoided, the working efficiency is improved, the auxiliary working time of the submerged arc furnace is shortened, and the energy is saved; and moreover, the hole is plugged by calcium carbide particles, the service life of the furnace mouth is long, and the output is increased.
