Structural study and dielectric properties of CdSeS glassy alloy

In this paper we report the structural and dielectric properties of CdSeS alloy which has been prepared by melt quenching technique. The dielectric properties and dc conductivity has been investigated. The temperature and frequency dependence of dielectric constant and dielectric loss has been found in the temperature range 300-410K and in the frequency range of 120Hz-1MHz. Dielectric dispersion is found to be observed which is mainly due to the dielectric polarization. It is observed that dielectric constant and dielectric loss decreases with increase of frequency and dispersion is strongly at low frequency and high temperatures.
