Epidemiological Surveys Supporting Quality Assurance Programs in the F.R. Germany

Epidemiological surveys may be of great use for quality assurance programs. A widely accepted problem-oriented quality assurance paradigm consists of the following 5 steps: - routine observation, - problem identification, - problem analysis, - selection and implementation of appropriate measures for problem solving, and finally - checking whether the problem has been eliminated or not.
