The invention relates to a method for carbonizing and modifying a kieselguhr powder surface. The method comprises the following steps: crushing organic matter-contained kieselguhr into powder (<200 meshes), roasting the powder in a high temperature furnace, isolating air to keep warm, cooling with the temperature reduction of the high temperature furnace to obtain carbonized kieselguhr, adding the carbonized kieselguhr, crude rubber, carbon soot, stearic acid, ZnO, sulfur powder and a vulcanizing accelerator in a mixing mill for mixing at a certain temperature; and molding in a flat-plate vulcameter after cooling to obtain surface-carbonized kieselguhr powder. In the method for carbonizing and modifying kieselguhr powder surface, the direct carbonizing method is adopted and the processed kieselguhr surface is uniformly coated with non-stereotyped carbon or multi-hole carbon. The carbonized and modified kieselguhr fully utilizes residual organic matter in kieselguhr and makes waste profitable. The kieselguhr powder surface is uniformly carbonized, is coated tightly and has the advantages of good organic matter compatibility, stable performance, simple technology and low cost.
