Research on the process of the fibrillation of the domestic aramid fiber(III)

The morphological structure changes of the domestic aramid fiber(Ⅲ) during its fibrillation was studied.SEM inspection shows that cortex shedding,structure loosing,longitudinal splitting and further defibrillation during fibrillation process to realize fibrillation,and the prepared domestic aramid fiber(Ⅲ) pulp was characterized.The result shows that the beating degree of pulp is up to 60°SR,the water retention value is 261%,the specific surface area is 9.42 m2/g and the crystallinity is 42.94%.
