Study of Efficiency of some Modifications of Medium B-2 for the Primary Cultivation of Tubercle Bacteria

It was found that the addition of 0.5% of glucose to the medium B-2 decreases the latter’s efficiency. The same was true for the addition of ribonucleic acid. Penicillin was a little more effective as decontaminant than malachite green. The medium prepared with fresh human plasma gave the same results as the medium prepared with human serum.
