Safety state detection system and method for main drive seal of total section tunneling machine

The invention discloses a safety state detection system and method for a main drive seal of a total section tunneling machine. The system comprises two sensor sets mounted on the inner side and the outer side of the main drive seal, an A/D converter connected with the two sensor sets by virtue of signal lines, and a controller in signal connection with the A/D converter, wherein the signal output end of the controller is connected with the signal input end of a cooling water control system. The method comprises a data detection conversion step and a comparison control step; the temperatures of an inner ring and an outer ring of the main seal are detected by combining a PLC with a temperature sensor and are compared with a set value, and then the cooling water control system is controlled to adjust cooling water volume, so that the temperature of the main drive seal can be online detected in operation of the tunneling machine; and whether the temperature of the main seal is within the set value or not is judged and a water volume control signal is sent to the cooling water system according to a preset program, so that the construction of the tunneling machine is ensured to proceed smoothly.
