Compensation for distortions of the wavefront of a partially coherent laser beam by atmospheric backscattering

The possibility of compensating for aberration distortions of the wavefront of a laser beam by atmospheric backscattering is studied numerically. A way to control the flexible mirror for aberration compensation is proposed based on the iteration procedure of minimizing deviations of normalized backscattering signals (measured by a matrix photoreceiver) from the corresponding normalized signals calculated in the absence of aberrations.
