Pediatric Intracranial Arteriovenous Malformation: Long-Term outcomes with LINAC-Based Radiosurgery
2020
Summary The purpose of this retrospective study is to analyze and report the long-term outcomes of intracranial arteriovenous malformations (AVM) treated with LINAC-based radiosurgery (LBRS) in the pediatric population. A series of 34 pediatric patients who were treated between 2002-2016 were analyzed. Median follow-up time was 98 months; 22 of the 34 lesions were obliterated. This long-term follow up shows that treatment of intracranial AVM with LBRS in the pediatric population is safe and effective.
