Study and determination of the voltammetric behaviours of indometacin on glass carbon electrode

Objective:To develop new electrochemical methods for the determination of indometacin.Methods:Cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse stripping voltammetry.Results:In a supporting electrolyte of the pH=4.0 Britton-Robinson(BR) buffer solution.The peak potential was at +0.89 V(VS.Ag/AgCl),the peak current of indometacin were linear to the concentration ranging from 1.0×10-6 to 1.0×10-4 mol·L-1,the detection limit was 3.8×10-7 mol·L-1.Conclusion:The methods are simple,fast and exact,which can be used for the determination of indometacin.
