Design of FPGA-based Carrier Phase-shifting PWM Generator

A kind of FPGA- based appropriate multi- level converter carrier phase- shift PWM generator wasdesigned and implemented,the PWM generator uses a two-tier structure of upper and lower computer. Upper computeruses DSP + FPGA structure to produce a modulated signal,the lower computer generates carrier signal and outputsPWM,signal,between the upper and lower computer via serial communication for data exchange and timingsynchronization. The basic structure and the design principles of the PWM generator were described and carried out inthe design verification.
