The Extract of the Rating Curve Using a Current Surveying

This study deals with the measurement of stream flow discharge using a current surveying and with the extract of the rating curve by the regression method. The target areas for the measurement of stream flow discharge were chosen as Naju and Youngsanpo in Youngsan River and as Yeonsan in Tamjin River Reference points on the transverse line for the measurement of flow velocity were established as erratic blocks in Naju and Youngsanpo, but established on the concrete road as paints in Yeonsan So, the erratic blocks must be established in Yeonsan. Water-level gauge in Youngsanpo is installed on the bridge, which gives incorrect data. So, it must be installed 125m on the right hand side downstream of the bridge. For the measurement of the flow velocity and the drawing of the float path diagram, the total station was used. It made possible the drawing of the float path especially in the rainy and windy weather condition, and hence the accurate rating curve was extracted by the correct measurement of the flow velocity.
