Fluctuations of Electron Beam's Have Been Smoothed by the Reverse of the Magnetic Field

2018
By means of computer calculations, according to the RRITA2D's program, there was made an investigation of the beam's behavior after passing the reverse area with a linear change of the magnetic field. On the basis of these studies, it is given a technique for determining the parameters of the reverse magnetic field to obtain an electron beam with minimal pulsations. This very technique has been applied to the six-resonator klystron. It is done to improve beam's current flow with the reverse of magnetic field between third and fourth resonators. As a result, position selection of reverse on the plot of pulsation recession allowed to improve electron's current flow from 60 to 100% at numerical mode and to 99,5% at experimental units.
