Structure design, Prototype manufacture and Performance analysis of a fiber grating sensor for strain measurement of batteries

Aiming at the problem of safety detection in the use of energy storage lithium ion batteries, a new sensing technology is developed. A fiber Bragg grating sensor for strain measurement of batteries is designed, and a prototype is developed for performance analysis, which can accurately reflect the deformation and performance degradation characteristics of electrochemical energy storage batteries to meet the requirements of energy storage batteries. The practical requirement of online monitoring and safety early warning during operation provides a new safe, reliable and inexpensive measurement method for battery management system technology in the future.
