Touch control system and method of electronic device

The invention provides a touch control method of an electronic device; the electronic device comprises a display screen and a press-type touch pad; the touch control method comprises the following steps of defining the ratio between the traveling distance of touch on the touch pad and the traveling distance of a cursor displayed on the display screen, and setting the function of the press-type touch pad as a click motion of the cursor; and synchronizing the touch pad and the cursor, thus leading the traveling operation on the touch pad to correspond to the traveling operation of the cursor on the display screen. The invention further provides a touch control system of an electronic device. By utilizing the touch control system and method of the electronic device, the manufacture cost can be reduced and damage to the display screen of the electronic device is prevented.
