Food and Industrial Applications of Tea Catechins

Looking back over the years it is clear that the ways in which tea is involved in our daily lives have undergone many changes. In the past, tea was purchased exclusively at a shop specializing in teas and drunk at home after brewing it in a small teapot or a kettle. Recently, tea has become available almost everywhere and is supplied commercially in various forms including tea bags, bottles and cans. The products are also varied with tea being mixed with other fruit and vegetable juices.
