Hydrogen permeability of structural materials during ion irradiation

1996
Hydrogen permeation through polycrystalline nickel and a vanadium alloy is studied as a function of the method of hydrogen introduction and the parameters of ion irradiation. It is important to study the hydrogen permeability of structural materials when modeling the operating conditions of thermonuclear reactors in the context of solving the material-science problems of controlled thermo-nuclear fusion.
