Deceleration–acceleration transition redshift of a class of modified Chaplygin gas from recent binned Hubble data

2020
A class of modified Chaplygin gas (MCG) has been chosen here as constituent of the universe. In the class of MCG, there are total five types that are considered, namely MCG ( $$B\ne 0.0$$ ), GCG ( $$B=0.0$$ ), general EU ( $$B\ne 0.0$$ ), EU ( $$B=0$$ ), $$\Lambda $$ CDM. The cosmological acceleration–deceleration redshift $$z^{c}_{tr}$$ (i.e., $$\left\langle z_{tr}\right\rangle $$ the expected values of redshift in terms of EoS parameters) are determined with error bars. The best-fitted acceleration–deceleration redshift $$z_{tr}$$ are also determined in the class of models from binned Hubble data. Best-fit values of the equation of state parameters (ie,EoS) are obtained in this analysis. Plot of deceleration parameter (q) and EoS parameter ( $$\omega $$ ) in this class of MCG model clearly shows acceleration–deceleration phase change in recent past.
