As sete decadas de projeçao da Declaraçao Universal dos Direitos Humanos 1948-2018 e a necessária preservaçao de seu legado

In this paper,we will examine the preparatory process, adoption and meaning of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948, its projection in international law in the internal law of the States, as well as in the two World Conferences onHuman Rights and the follow–up of both. Next, we will focus on the broad scope of conventional human rights protection obligations. We will end with some personal considerations about the future of the protection of human rights.
