The invention discloses mulberry tea and a preparation method thereof. The mulberry tea is prepared by adding softened water to dry mulberries, liquorice, honeysuckle flowers, chrysanthemum, a sweetening agent and an antioxidant and extracting. The preparation method of the mulberry tea comprises the following steps of: extracting the dry mulberries, the liquorice, the honeysuckle flowers and the chrysanthemum by softened water to obtain tea extraction; adding acesulfame potassium, xylose and the softened water to the tea extraction; and adding the mixture to a mixing tank, and stirring the mixture uniformly to obtain the mulberry tea. The mulberry tea disclosed by the invention has the beneficial effects of being completely produced by the biotechnology, good in mouthfeel, and capable of achieving the effects of promoting the production of body fluid to quench thirst, promoting the digestion, relaxing bowels, promoting the growth of red blood cells, improving the human immunity, delaying the ageing, maintaining the beauty and keeping young. Besides, the mulberry tea is natural, nutrient and un-artificial, so that the purpose of comprehensively developing and utilizing the mulberries are achieved.
