Peripheral Nerve Anatomy

2019
This chapter will examine anatomy of the peripheral nervous system, including the spinal nerves and nerve plexi. Specifically, we will cover the cervical, brachial, and lumbosacral plexus. We will also examine the anatomy of the autonomic nervous system and its two main components, the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems. A thorough understanding of peripheral nervous system anatomy is critical for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating pain syndromes.
