사용자 참여를 통한 초등학교 환경색채 디자인에 관한 연구

2018
This study aims to improve the environmental colors of elementary school and suggests ways to improve satisfaction by reflecting users` needs through participation by spatial users from the planning stage. This study consists largely of four stages. First, the environmental color planning criteria were established by examining the environmental color theory of elementary schools and the children`s color preference theory. Second, user participated color workshops and user surveys were used as data to derive direction of color design. Third, through the analysis of the existing color environment of the school, the problems and improvement plans were derived, and the design proposal followed by integrating the theoretical contents, the workshop results and the survey results. Fourth, the final design was constructed and the user’s satisfaction was investigated after construction to evaluate the improvement of the environmental colors. The conclusions are as follows: First, considering the spatial characteristics, the color design of corridors, classrooms, and stair rooms was changed and the range of colors, luminance and saturation could be selected. Second, through workshops and surveys, the user`s opinions on color preference, consciousness, and demands were collected and applied to color planning. Third, after construction, the user satisfaction survey showed that the satisfaction level increased by more than 23%.
