Generating underwater OAM based on the water-immersed antenna array

To explore the potential of orbital angular moment (OAM) imaging in underwater condition, a water-immersed antenna has been designed at 10GHz in this paper, the S 11 is optimized to -50dB, and the bandwidth is 4GHz. Based on the above antenna, an uniform circular array (UCA) with 16 elements are simulated to generate electromagnetic (EM) wave carrying OAM, the results of vortex EM fields of OAM modes 0-7 are obtained, high-qulity under water OAM modes can be generated at 10GHz efficiently.
