Discussion on the Importance of Setting up Information Retrieval Course in University

Along with the development of computer technology and network technology, social information shows an explosive growth trend. Starting from the importance of setting up the information retrieval course in university, this paper analyzes some problems existing in university's information retrieval course, and puts forward some corresponding measures.
