Thus, our results indicate that siRNA could be delivered by using liposomes in osteosarcomas and could thereby inhibit gene expression in a specific manner in these tumors. The validation of this protocol allows us to transpose it to siRNA targeting RANKL expression in these osteosarcoma animal models as a therapeutic strategy, which is currently on progress.
