Card counter and method for counting cards by using same

The invention discloses a card counter and a method for counting cards by using the same, and relates to the field of image processing. The card counter is invented for solving the problem of inaccuracy of existing card counting. The card counter comprises a housing body, at least two image collectors, an image processor, a controller, at least one pair of blocky light source emitters, and at least one LED lamp panel and a display screen, wherein the housing body is divided into an upper part and a lower part; the front side of the lower part of the housing body is free of a baffle; the at least two image collectors, the image processor, the controller, the at least one pair of blocky light source emitters and the at least one LED lamp panel are positioned in the upper part of the housing body; the display screen is arranged on the front surface of the upper part of the housing body; the display screen, at least one blocky light source emitter, the at least one LED lamp panel and the image processor are connected with the controller; and the at least two image collectors are connected with the image processor. The card counter can be applied to the field of card management.
