Cloning and Analysis of BAPT Gene from Three Different Taxus

In this study,Hot Start PCR was used to clone BAPT gene from Taxus cuspidata,Taxus.baccata and Taxus.chinensis.A length of 1456 bp PCR product was acquired.Sequence analysis showed that,the homology of BAPT genes from the three different taxus is 97.4%.Meanwhile,through the sequence alignment between the cDNA sequence of gene BAPT in NCBI and the three different taxus BAPT gene,we found that there is an intron about 110bp which is in a high sequence homology.
