Synthesis of LaCO3OH nanowires via a solvothermal process in the mixture of water and room-temperature ionic liquid

2005
Abstract LaCO 3 OH nanostructures were synthesized by a solvothermal process using ionic liquid (1,1,3,3-tetramethylguanidinium lactate) and water mixture as the solvent. The materials of different morphologies, such as nanoparticles, nanorods, and nanowires, can be obtained by controlling the volume ratio of the ionic liquid to water. The as-prepared products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
