The social responsibilities of sci-tech periodicals when encountered in public health emergencies

In this article,it is introduced that Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine has done a series of reports on hot issues and clinical research progresses about novel influenza A(H1N1) during the outbreak of H1N1.The journal editors interviewed famous experts and set up the special column on H1N1 influenza.It is emphasized that sci-tech periodicals should scientifically and timely do follow-up reports,and also take the responsibility of the professional media in public health emergencies.
