Transformations of Crystalline Phases in Fe1 – xGaxBO3 Single Crystals at Annealing

Optical microscopy and X-ray phase analysis were used to study single-crystalline samples of FeBO3, GaBO3, and Fe0.27Ga0.73BO3, annealed at high temperatures. It was established that the nature of high-temperature structural transformations is significantly different for the “pure” phases (FeBO3, GaBO3) and for the mixed composition Fe0.27Ga0.73BO3.
