Numerical simulation of dean flow in spiral microchannels for cancer cell sorting

Dean flow in a spiral microchannel is simulated systematically using the set of Navier Stokes equations. The influence of fluid flow rate and spiral initial radius on Dean flow is discussed. The particals' motion under the Dean drag force in the spiral microchannel is shown in the last.
