A method for calculating the melting rate of chemical products belonging to the class of synthetic fatty acids by a combined light- and heat-emitting source

2003
A method for calculating the rate of melting of synthetic fatty acids (SFAs) by flat, cylindrical, and spherical light- and heat-emitting sources is developed, in which the light-energy transfer through the liquid SFA layer whose thickness continuously grows is taken into account.
