The implementation of the right to social insurance benefits in Poland

The authors have presented the main features of the reformed pension system in Poland – among others, they have discussed the importance of contributory periods, non-contributory periods and complementary periods; they have de-scribed the importance of interest rates of pension contributions and disability benefits, including the amount of disability benefit for a person who is completely incapable of work.
