Steel for single-sided electrogalvanizing automobile fuel tanks and production method thereof

2013
The invention discloses a steel for single-sided electrogalvanizing automobile fuel tanks, and the steel comprises the following components in percentage by weight: less than or equal to 0.0015% of C, less than or equal to 0.018% of Si, 0.05-0.20% of Mn, less than or equal to 0.015% of P, less than or equal to 0.010% of S, 0.05-0.07% of Ti, 0.02-0.06% of Als, less than or equal to 0.003% of N, and the balance of iron and inevitable impurities. A method for producing the steel comprises the following steps: 1) carrying out smelting and continuous casting on raw materials so as to obtain a blank; carrying out conventional heating on the blank, and then carrying out hot rolling on the blank; carrying out conventional water cooling on the blank until the blank is at a coiling temperature, and coiling the blank; carrying out cold rolling on the blank; carrying out continuous annealing on the blank; finishing the blank; carrying out conventional pickling, scrubbing electrolytic degreasing, and rinsing on the blank; carrying out a gravity-method single-sided electrogalvanizing process on strip steel. According to the invention, on the premise of ensuring that the mechanical properties of the steel are as follows: the yield strength is 120-170 MPa, the tensile strength is 270-330 MPa, the plastic strain ratio r90 is greater than or equal to 2.1, the work hardening index n90 is greater than or equal to 0.22, and the percentage of elongation A80mm is greater than or equal to 42%, and the steel is directly contacted with the coating surface of gasoline, so that the steel is excellent in corrosion resistance and high in surface quality, the non-coating surface of the steel has a good welding performance, and therefore a seal welding process is conveniently performed on the upper and lower shells of a fuel tank subjected to stamping.
