Identification of Resistance to Powdery Mildow and Karyotype Analysis on the 6M~V Chromosome (Ae.Ventricosa) Substitution Line

2004
F_6 lines of Chinese Spring × the Hexaploid of Ae.Ventricosa-T.durum, with stable wheat's (characteristics): 9606217, 9606117, 9606233, 9606324, 9606344 were tested for the identification of resistance to Powdery mildow and karyotype analysis. The results showed that 5 materials'(chromosome) number are all 42; 9606217, 9606117 and 9606233 have a pair of subterminal (chromosomes) in which the arm rations are about (4.44), which just alike the original parents-Ae. Ventricosa's 6M~V (chromosome), while 9606324 and 9606344 don't have the pairs (chromosome); 9606117 and 9606233 lack a pair of satellite (chromosome) 6B;9606117's (chromosomes) can form 21 pairs of bivalents at MⅠ, but the F_1 of 9606117 ×Chinese Spring forms 20 pairs of bivalents and 2 univalents at MⅠ. Anti-disease identification shows that 9606217, 9606117 and 9606233 are all immune to (lower) poisonous No.1 race and higher poisonous No.315 race; 9606324 is resistant to neither No.1 nor No.315; 9606344 is immune to No.1, but isn't resistant to No.315. It can be suggested elementarily that 9606117 is a 6M~V/6B (chromosome) substitution line, 9606117, 9606217 and 9606233's resistance to (Powdery) mildow have certain relationship with chromosome 6M~V.
