Smelting method for reducing Ca content in steel

2013
The invention discloses a smelting method for reducing Ca content in steel. The smelting method comprises the processes of alloy deoxidation, slag refining, soft argon blowing stirring and the like, wherein SiFe and metal Mn are sequentially used for deoxidation in a steel tapping process; a Ca-contained alloy deoxidizing agent is not used; trace or less slag is used in the refining operation process, no or little lime is added, and the addition quantity of the lime is controlled within 0.5kg/t; calcium carbide diffusible deoxidation is not allowed in the refining process; acid slag made of quartz sand is used, the alkalinity of the acid slag is controlled between 0.8-1.2, and the CaO content of refining slag is not higher than 40%; and after the refining is ended, the argon blowing stirring time is not shorter than 10min, so that occluded substances are promoted to float upwards. By using the smelting method, the Ca content can be controlled below 5ppm; and the smelting method is simple and feasible in operation, capable of saving auxiliary refining materials and suitable for smelting steel with low Ca content.
