Effect of C-met Gene Expression,Dendritic Cell Infiltration and DNA Ploid Type on Gastric Carcinoma Metastasis

2005
Objective: To explore the effect of c-met gene expression, dendritic cell infiltration and DNA ploid type on stomach cancer metastasis. Methods: C-met protein, dendritic cell and DNA ploid type were detected in the tissues of 50 gastric carcinomas(GC),11 Dysplasia (DYS), 18 chronic atrophic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia(CAG + IM) and 15 chronic superficial gastritis(CSG)by the way of Immu-nohistochemistry and flow cytometry: Results: C-met expression rate in GC group was higher than that of CSG group(P0. 05)and was related to lymph node metastasia and infiltration depth (P0.01-0.05). There was no significantly difference among other groups(P 0.05).S-100 protein expression in GC group was lower than that of other groups. S-100 protein positive in the group with lymph node metastasis was lower than that of the group no lymph node metastasis (P0.05). With the increase of c-met expression in GC group, S-100 protein expression appears lower gradually. C-met diploid group was lower than that of heteroploid group(P0.05). S-100 protein positive rate of diploid group was higher than that of heteroploid group (P0.05). DNA ploid type was related to pathological stage, different ion degree and lymph node metastasia(P0.05) ,3 year survival rate after operation in dendrite cell high expression group was higher than that of dendrite cell lower expression group, but 3 year survival rate after operation in high expression group was lower than that of c-met low expression group (P0.05). Conclusion:C-met,S-100 protein expression and DNA ploid type are closely related to the biological behavior of gastric carcinoma. Detecting the related markers above could objectively judge the metastasis and prognosis of gastric carcinoma.
