A Temperature Control Strategy of Fixed Frequency Air Conditioning Loads for Short-Time Peak Clipping

2020
Fixed-frequency Air Conditioning Load(FACL) is the most widely used demand response resource on the user side, and has the characteristics of simple scheduling. In this paper, the operating characteristics of FACL are studied starting from a single device, and the aggregation model of FACL is established. The ratio between the difference value of indoor temperature relative to the dead zone boundary and the dead zone operating temperature of a single FACL is defined as Normalized Temperature Adjustable Capacity (NTAC). Based on NTAC, a temperature control strategy of FACL participating in demand response is proposed in this paper. Simulation results show that this strategy can achieve power extraction without generating rebound load, and has a good engineering application prospect.
